Tide cashback not received
Work through these checks before contacting Tide. Most missed REFER200 rewards come down to a deadline that wasn't quite met or a hold that was broken early.
1. Confirm REFER200 was actually attached
In the Tide app, look for a "referred by" or rewards indicator. If it's missing, your account may not have had a referral attached — see forgot to enter the code.
2. Check your card spend hit £100 in 30 days
Export your Tide transactions for the first 30 days. Tide-card transactions must total at least £100 in qualifying spend. ATM withdrawals, transfers and refunds are generally excluded — see what counts as card spend.
3. Check the £5,000 Instant Saver deposit timing
- £5,000 must have arrived in Instant Saver within 7 days of opening.
- Bank transfers can take a working day — a deposit sent on day 7 may land on day 8 and miss the window.

4. Check you held the £5,000 for the full 30 days
Any drop below £5,000 inside the hold window can void the £125 portion. Standing orders and recurring withdrawals are easy to forget.
5. Account status
The reward only pays into an active Tide account in good standing. Restrictions, failed KYC or closure during validation will block payment.
6. Contact Tide support
If all four steps look good and you're past the validation window, open the in-app support chat. Share your account email, the date you opened, the date you completed each step, and screenshots if you have them.

Tide doesn't publish a fixed payment date. Allow a reasonable validation window after the 30-day point.
Is the £75 paid separately from the £125?+
Yes — the two portions are independent and may be validated and paid separately.
I withdrew some of the £5,000 early. Can I top it back up?+
Once the balance drops below £5,000 during the 30-day hold, the £125 portion is generally lost. Topping back up doesn't reset the clock.
