Tide referral code history
Every Tide referral code we've tracked, what each was worth, and why a code you've seen on another site is probably out of date. The only currently live offer is REFER200.

REFER200 is the most generous structured cashback we've recorded from Tide. Most users who plan around the deadlines pick up the full £200. The two rewards are independent — meet only one and you receive that portion alone.
Previous codes (no longer valid)
REFER175
REFER175 was an earlier iteration of the same two-step structure with a lower headline value (£50 card spend + £125 Instant Saver = £175). It was replaced by REFER200 as Tide increased the card-spend portion from £50 to £75. Pages still advertising REFER175 are stale — use REFER200 instead.
REFER100
REFER100 ran intermittently as a flat £100 cashback for completing a single qualifying activity (commonly a small card-spend threshold). It pre-dated the split reward structure and is no longer live.
REFER75
REFER75 was the long-running £75 card-spend-only reward. For years it was the default Tide refer-a-friend bonus. It has been superseded by REFER200, which keeps a £75 card-spend reward but adds the £125 Instant Saver reward on top.
Seasonal and partner codes
Tide has occasionally run short promotional codes alongside partner campaigns (accountancy bodies, business networks, freelance platforms). These were time-limited and rarely public. None are currently redeemable.
Why old codes still appear in search results
Search engines index a page once, then re-crawl it on their own schedule. A 2022 blog post promoting REFER75 may still rank for "Tide referral code" today, even though the code itself no longer pays £75 (or anything). Tide doesn't notify third-party sites when it changes a code — it's the site owner's job to refresh the content. Many don't.
We re-check Tide's current offer at least monthly and update this page (and the offer-last-checked date sitewide) whenever something changes. If you see a different value advertised elsewhere, check the post's update date first.
How to verify the current offer yourself
- Open the REFER200 page here and check the offer-last-checked date in the offer card.
- Tap the Open Tide button. Tide's signup screen will confirm the active offer.
- For belt-and-braces, ask Tide support in-app to confirm the current new-customer referral programme before completing your application.
What to do if you've already used an old code
If your account was opened with an older code, that offer (if any) applies — you can't retroactively swap to REFER200. See forgot to enter the code for what's possible after signup.
Future changes
Tide can withdraw or change REFER200 at any time. We expect the structure (split into a card-spend and saver-hold portion) to remain even if the values move, because it aligns with how Tide measures qualifying activity. If the offer changes we'll update this page, the offer card sitewide, and add a dated note here for transparency.

Can I still get cashback if I missed the current code window?+
REFER200 is currently open with no published end date, so there isn't a 'window' to miss. Tide can withdraw it at any time — apply with the current code while it's live.
Has Tide ever offered more than £200?+
We haven't recorded a structured public referral offer above £200. Short-term promotional codes via partners are typically lower-value.
How often does Tide change its referral code?+
Rarely — codes typically run for many months or longer. We re-check at least monthly and update the offer-last-checked date sitewide.
Why are some blogs still listing 'up to £100 free cash' for Tide?+
Outdated content. The current Tide programme is REFER200 worth up to £200. Use the up-to-date code so you don't miss out.
